Year 3
Reading
• Reading is a vital skill and we encourage you to read with your child every day.
• Please ensure that you sign their reading record after you have read with them, so that they can change their books.
• Please note the children will not be allowed to change their book without a parent/carer signature in their reading record.
• Your child will be able to change their reading book on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday. (To allow for decontamination).
Homework
Mathletics homework will be set weekly and will link to our learning.
It will be set on a Thursday and will need to be completed by the following Wednesday.
Children will also take part in a weekly times table challenge on a Friday.
They will bring home their times table book on a Friday to practise the table they are learning and their book must be returned by Wednesday.
