This Autumn term we are exploring properties of materials - why are certain objects made with certain materials.
This week we have found out about reversible and irreversible changes. We did an experiment to find out that some materials will dissolve in liquid, to form a solution.
This week we have been identifying how some materials are 'irreversible' and that these irreversible chemical changes can sometimes create new materials. We mixed bicarbonate of soda with white vinegar. Can you guess what new material was made? Hopefully the children will be able to answer the question if you ask them!
This term are topic for Science is 'Forces' - so we worked in groups using different equipment to show everyone what we alreading know about Forces. Then we presented it to the rest of the class.
