For world book day we did lots of different activities based on the book 'The Journey'.
As it was such a lovely day a couple of weeks ago we decided to take the children outside to so some maths. They drew grids using chalk and then used their knowledge of translating shapes, using bits of wood, to then translate them on the grids.
In maths we used our skills of addition and number bonds to help us play a game.
Using Venn and Carroll diagrams we have been sorting 2D shapes by their properties.
