In Art we are looking at patterns.

Patterns can be found everywhere, and artists can take inspiration from both natural patterns and man-made designs.

Activity 1:

Can you spot patterns around your home? Or perhaps in the garden?

Draw what you find, or maybe even take a photograph.

Activity 2:

Escher is a famous artist who uses pattern in their work.

Have a look at some of their work. Can you create your own versions? You could use paint, pencils, crayons, pens, collage, chalks.
