Welcome to 5WN’s class page. We will be updating this page with newsletters and notices, as well as sharing our experiences and activities throughout the year.
Reminders:
*Homework - Mathletics and Spellodrome online homework is set by teachers on Thursday, and is due in on the following Thursday.
*Reading - we expect children to bring their reading book, along with their reading records to school every day. Reading records are checked by class teachers on a regular basis - please make sure there is evidence of parent comments/signatures and child comments.
P.E. Timetable
We expect every child to have the correct P.E. kit at school.
Our Summer Term P.E. lessons are as follows:
-Friday – Cricket for all of Year 5 with a coach.
-Wednesday's - Dance/Athletics

History day - 1960's. We painted our own Andy Warhol posters.
Can you guess what we did inside this big blue dome? Ask the children ! We had loads of fun in our 'Outdoor learning week'! We made waterproof shelters for a small toy and tested each one by pouring water over the top. We also used our skills of Area in maths to find the areas of different leafs.
