We all enjoyed our Victorian workshop with our two special visitors, Cecelia and Timothy. We learned about Victorian clothing and the order to get dressed in! Also Victotrian inventions, as well as how the British Empire grew during Victorian times and by how much it has shrunk since. There was also a tea clipper challenge and some period dancing to enjoy.

We crafted and decorated pots in the style of Clarice Cliff, an early 20th Century ceremaics artist. She liked to use bold colours and triangles in her work.

We all enjoyed Tudor Day! In the morning, we participated in some activities related to the period whilst in the classroom. Then during afternoon, we had lots of fun learning with Tom - our Tudor visitor.

Although the Life Bus was a little different this year, we nonetheless enjoyed learning about some important health, social and emotional themes.

We went out into the pond area to find angles of various magnitudes and types. Can you spot the feathered friend we found in the hut?

As part of our DT topic we made pizzas. We carefully measured out the correct quantity of each ingredient. Then we baked them in the oven outside, before evaluating them by of course eating them!

We re-enacted The Battle of Bosworth, 1485, at which Henry Tudor defeated Richard III to begin the Tudor dynasty. It lasted for 118 years!
